1 Year Blogiversary!! + What to Expect From Me in 2020

Guys. It's 2020. Say what?!?! It's been a little while since I last posted, but I'm back with a very exciting announcement!

Today is my 1-year blogiversary!!! I can't even believe it, seriously. I have loved every step of this blogging journey so far and can't wait to pursue it even further this year!

To celebrate this occasion, I have a couple blog stats for you as well as my blogging goals and what to expect from me in 2020!

Stats

All-Time Views

15.1K - Okay, that's mostly me refreshing my page several hundred times. So this one doesn't really count.

Followers

I have 37 followers! So, not a lot, considering the fact that I have been blogging for a whole year but I haven't been super consistent in my posting schedule. Everyone's gotta start somewhere right?!

Sorry I don't have more stats for you. Still getting the hang of Google Analytics... 😑

Blogging Goals for 2020

- Move blog to Wordpress/Bluehost

This is something I've been trying to do while I'm still a small blogger. That's also why I haven't bothered to change my website address yet, in case you were wondering. ;)

- Establish my brand/colors

You guys probably notice that I change my colors and design practically every month. I'm a very indecisive person, I know. I'm also a teenage girl. I don't know what I want. 🤷 This year, however, I really want to establish my brand and my colors.

- Write 50 blog posts

Pretty self-explanatory.

- Get to 150 followers

Also pretty self-explanatory.

- Start my Etsy shop

You have probably seen the little box on my homepage that says 'Shop My Etsy; Coming Soon!' Yeah, it's been there awhile. But I plan to get it up and running this year!

- Create more freebies

Right now, the freebie library is kind of small. I plan to create more content to put in it, and maybe even an e-book opt-in or something!

What to expect from me in 2020

- Deeper topics

This past year, all my posts were mostly life hacks and 'just-for-fun' posts. This year, I would like to incorporate some deeper topics. Nothing too intense, just some more heartfelt subjects and posts. Don't worry, I'm not eliminating all the 'just-for-fun' posts, though!

- Posts on becoming a Godly Woman

I know this is oddly specific, but my faith is a big part of my life and who I am, and I want it to become a part of my blog, too. Specifically, I want to post about becoming a lady and growing in faith as a young woman. I know there are lots of other girls who are on the same journey as me!

- More community-based posts

You guys, my readers, mean so much to me. I would not be motivated without you, and I really want to get to know you all personally! I want to write more posts influenced by you, and based on what you all want to hear. I want my posts to be almost like conversations. I love blogs that feel personal, and I want to create that feel for you all!

I can't thank you all enough for a wonderful first year of blogging! Your support means so much to me, and I can't wait to see what 2020 brings for this blog as well as my relationships with you all. 💕

What do you think?

What do you want to see from my blog in 2020? What's your favorite part of winter? Does it snow often where you live?
